This role will be based on-site in Tewksbury, MA and have HR responsibility for our Tewksbury, MA and Oakwood Village, OH sites.

As a Sr. HR Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute meaningfully while enabling our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Working as a strategic partner, you'll translate business strategy into innovative HR solutions that build organizational capabilities and drive results. You'll partner with leaders to attract, develop and retain talent while fostering an engaging culture built on our 4i values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
In this role, you'll provide comprehensive HR leadership across talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, and engagement initiatives. You'll analyze workforce data to develop insights that inform strategic decisions and guide organizational change efforts. As a subject matter expert in HR policies and processes, you'll advise leaders while ensuring alignment of HR programs with business objectives. You'll work effectively across a global matrix organization, building strong relationships and implementing enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic partner in developing roadmaps to accomplish business goals

  • Mentor managers and leaders on issues including restructuring, investigations and other complex employee issues

  • Provide HR solutions support, process knowledge advice and consultation to assigned client groups

  • Partners with business and acts as a change agent for organizational design

  • Conduct compensation analysis in partnership with COE's to resolve local compensation needs and actions

  • Works with talent acquisition team to drive recruitment efforts

  • Ensures alignment of HR processes (Performance Management and Development (PMD), Performance Calibration, Compensation Planning, etc.) with strategic and operating goals

Requirements:

• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive HR roles in global, matrixed organizations
• Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field

• Prior people management experience preferred

• PHR/SPHR certification preferred

• High degree of autonomy and strong decision-making skills; possesses exceptional judgement to navigate grey areas

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into actionable HR solutions
• Experience leading organizational change and development initiatives
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights from HR data
• Excellent consulting, influencing and relationship building capabilities at all levels
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to travel 10-20% as needed

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00–$194,950.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
