Job Summary
The Senior HR Manager serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing human resources and labor relations expertise that enables operational success and organizational effectiveness. This role collaborates closely with business leadership, HR leadership, and Centers of Expertise (COEs) to develop and execute people strategies that support business goals, strengthen organizational capability, and enhance employee performance and engagement.The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of business acumen, labor relations expertise, customer focus, and leadership capability to drive HR initiatives, talent strategies, employee relations, and organizational change across assigned business areas.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Develop trusted relationships with business leaders to understand operational priorities, workforce needs, and future business challenges.
- Provide strategic HR consultation and recommendations that align people strategies with business objectives.
- Anticipate workforce trends and identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and business performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee, organizational, and talent-related matters.
Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness
- Partner with leaders to drive talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
- Support leadership development and high-performance culture initiatives.
- Utilize workforce data and business insights to identify trends and recommend actions that improve employee and organizational outcomes.
- Champion employee engagement and retention efforts across assigned business areas.
Employee & Labor Relations
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Partner with Legal and Employee Relations teams to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective resolution of workplace issues.
- Lead or support collective bargaining negotiations and ongoing labor-management relations activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, labor agreements, and company policies.
- Support timely completion of regulatory filings and responses to regulatory inquiries as needed.
HR Program Delivery & Change Management
- Lead the implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives within supported business units.
- Collaborate with COEs to deliver integrated HR solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Facilitate communication, training, and adoption of new HR programs and processes.
- Support organizational changes, restructuring efforts, mergers, acquisitions, and business transformation initiatives.
Project Leadership
- Manage and lead HR projects from planning through execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and achievement of desired business outcomes.
- Monitor project progress and measure effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 10+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
- Experience serving as a strategic HR Business Partner in a complex business environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of collective bargaining and labor negotiations experience.
- Demonstrated success supporting:

- Talent acquisition and workforce planning

- Learning and development initiatives
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and HR best practices.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale organizational changes.
- Professional HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent).
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience will be considered.
