We’re seeking a skilled and people-focused Sr. HR Generalist to support our employee population in Brazil. This role serves as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in-country, delivering hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Brazilian labor law and CLT (Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho) requirements. Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations (LATAM), this role will be a key partner in building a consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee experience in Brazil.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional with deep knowledge of Brazilian employment law, strong employee and labor relations instincts, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced global organization with care and precision.

What You’ll Do

Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

  • Partner with our HR Generalist on day-to-day HR processes for Brazil, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, leaves of absence (including INSS/FGTS-related matters), and employment verifications

Employee & Labor Relations

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters in Brazil, providing guidance to managers and employees on workplace concerns, performance issues, and disciplinary actions
  • Navigate labor relations considerations including union agreements (ACTs/CCTs), mandatory negotiations, and Works Council interactions where applicable
  • Ensure all employee relations matters are handled in alignment with Brazilian labor law, CLT requirements, and company policy
  • Partner with Legal and the LATAM HR Ops Manager on escalated or complex ER cases, ensuring documentation and timely resolution
  • Proactively identify trends and surface ER insights to HR leadership to support a healthy and compliant work environment

Compliance & Policy

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Brazilian employment legislation, CLT updates, and eSocial reporting obligations
  • Support HR audits, eSocial filings, and government reporting as required
  • Ensure internal HR policies and practices are adapted to meet local legal requirements
  • Partner with the LATAM HR Manager on policy rollouts, ensuring country-specific requirements are addressed

Partnership & Projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and IT to support employee needs and HR initiatives
  • Contribute to regional and global HR projects, bringing a Brazil-specific lens to process design and implementation
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying operational gaps and recommending solutions

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant focus on Brazil HR operations and employee/labor relations
  • Ability to come into the office in Barueri as needed to support the team
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken) required; working Spanish required for cross-functional collaboration
  • Deep working knowledge of Brazilian labor law (CLT), FGTS, INSS, eSocial, and collective bargaining agreements (ACTs/CCTs)
  • Hands-on experience managing employee relations cases from intake through resolution, with sound judgment and documentation practices
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Celergo, Workday, or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with the ability to build trust across employee populations and business stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with data to identify trends and inform decisions
  • Eager to learn and utilize AI where possible
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field
  • Certification in Brazilian Labor Law (Direito do Trabalho) is a plus
