The Opportunity

Our Lake Forest, IL office seeks to hire a Senior Global Marketing Manager position for our Infectious Diseases Business Unit of Rapid & Molecular Diagnostics. This role is responsible for setting the strategy & developing initiatives for the assigned product line (s) to achieve the objectives of the business. This includes strategic planning, innovation pipeline development, new business opportunity development (products, services, etc), new product introductions through the stage gate process, and on-market product line (s) management. This position could develop responsibilities for one or more direct reports.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead long-term strategic planning & annual global marketing plan development, including market analysis, recommendation, and presentation of proposed strategies & tactics to senior leadership
  • Lead innovation pipeline development, new product development, and new market placement recommendations with accountability across the 4Ps (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion)
  • Lead new product initiatives through stage-gate process in close collaboration with headquarters cross-functional teams, regional marketing, and commercial leadership teams
  • Create global marketing toolkits and training materials for regional adaptations and market launches
  • Understand or global markets & competitive environment that drives adaptation of innovation pipeline and new product requirements based on the changes in the environment
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives, including but not limited to field sales force, legal, quality, compliance, market access, market insights, finance, regulatory, medical, clinical, scientific, operations, public affairs, executive management, health care professionals, etc.
  • Lead one or more direct reports, depending on the specific role scope

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience with progressive responsibility in brand or product management in consumer, health tech, or diagnostics marketing; or a combination of the three
  • BS/BA Marketing
  • Strong strategic thought leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated execution of successful tactical plans, on budget and on time
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans
  • Ability to complete competitive analysis and identify market trends
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Financial acumen & understanding of business P&L
  • Global marketing experience
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Managerial experience strongly preferred

The base pay for this position is

$125,300.00 – $250,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
