What will you bring to the team.
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Guadalajara team. You will play a key technical role in maintaining and advancing our enterprise web dashboards using React, Kibana, and Elasticsearch, contributing both to implementation and strategic design decisions
What will you be doing:
As a Sr. Full-Stack Web Developer, you will:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable features across the frontend (React) and backend (API integration, Elasticsearch).
- Drive architectural decisions, component reuse strategies, and UI/UX best practices.
- Design advanced Elasticsearch queries and Kibana dashboards for operational intelligence, diagnostics, and customer-facing insights.
- Act as a technical liaison, collaborating with stakeholders from QA, DevOps, PM, and senior architects.
- Guide the integration of new technologies, libraries, and tools to enhance system performance and maintainability.
- Take ownership of full-cycle feature development: requirements gathering, technical specification, implementation, testing, and release.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Document technical solutions and produce user guides and system maintenance procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and test environments (Linux and Windows).
Naturally to be successful in this role, you must have and know of:
- Computer Science Engineering, Software Development, or related.
- 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience in frontend development using React and JavaScript.
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and handling front-end-backend integration complexities.
- Proficiency with Git and agile practices.
- Advanced debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills across the full stack.
- Advanced English
Preferred skills:
- Experience working with Kibana dashboards and Elasticsearch, including index management, query optimization, and log data analysis.
- Java
- CI/CD.
