The Shop-Ware team is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join them.
The team develops modern Shop Management Software that provides not only transformational shop management tools, but also transparent customer-facing communications.
The result? Increased efficiency, enhanced profitability, and second to none customer service for each of our customers.
- Build and rapidly iterate on full stack application features, using highly customized API and integrations, in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
- Contribute architectural vision and execution
- Continually help improve development practices to deliver highly available software
- Thorough knowledge of React, pros and cons, how to effectively organize code, and how to write efficient and understandable code
- React, HTML, CSS and Ruby on Rails
- JavaScript; we have a lot of client-side code!
- Relational DB (Postgres, MySQL, SQL) engines
- Backbone.js a plus!
Are there any other requirements?
- At least 5+ years of experience suggested
- Fully remote position, but must be able to work within the EST Time Zone
- Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails 6, HTML, CSS, and React
- Provide non-proprietary and non-confidential sample(s) of your work if possible
Skills Required
- At least 5+ years of experience

- Strong knowledge of React and client-side JavaScript
- Proficient with HTML and CSS
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL)
