The Role

Famous Supply is a wholesale distributor that is leveraging modern technologies to create competitive differentiation. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack .Net developer to leverage their experience and skills to design and build systems required by our customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate is a hands-on development professional with system design and front / backend programming expertise and experience mentoring a team. Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Work individually, and collaboratively with the project management team, to prioritize, design, develop and implement solutions that enhance the functionality by leveraging the Agile development methodology.

· Write application code to deliver secure, robust, transactional, and service-oriented web architectures.

· Create and maintain software documentation, including properly commented code explaining functional requirements, technical specifications, as well as separate user documentation that can be used by any member of the business. This includes unit testing that can be integrated into deployment pipelines.

· Work with Sr. Director of IT Systems and Development, Web and Integration Manager, and other development team members to create application architecture.

· Ensure all new applications meet Famous’ security, development, and functionality standards. As well as mentor junior team members to strengthen their skills.

· Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions in a timely and professional manner.

· Maintain an understanding of the latest .Net coding best practices and libraries through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.

· Diagnose and repair issues related to legacy web applications and propose ways to modernize said applications.

Required Experience and Skills:

· Understanding of and experience with Agile software development, QA methodologies, tools, and processes

· Experience with creating reusable components, methods and code blocks

· Experience with database technology such as SQL Server

· Experience developing ETL packages using SSIS and creating reports using SSRS

· Expertise in Entity Framework, Object Oriented Programming, Dependency Injection, etc.

· Expertise in creating and maintaining .Net Core and .Net Framework Web Applications and APIs

· Expertise with programming languages such as C#, T-SQL, JavaScript amongst others

· Expertise with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML5 and CSS

· 8+ years’ experience in architecting, developing, and testing web applications

· 3+ years’ experience in leading a development team
