Sr. Full-Stack Engineer - Web & Mobile

Synopsis

The Senior Software Engineering Expert – Ionic Web & Mobile, is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade cross-platform web and mobile applications using Ionic and Angular. The role will ensure solutions are aligned with architectural standards, security requirements, engineering best practices, and specification-driven development principles. 

This role requires advanced expertise in Ionic, Angular, TypeScript, mobile application development, API integration, and modern software engineering practices. The successful candidate will drive application quality, performance, scalability, AI adoption, and continuous improvement while supporting team growth and technical excellence. 

Accountabilities

• Provide software engineering delivery leadership, technical guidance, and support to delivery teams, ensuring successful execution of business and technology initiatives. 

• Mentor software engineers, providing technical leadership and ensuring delivery aligns with architecture standards, engineering principles, and Agile methodologies.  

• Drive solution design, development, and implementation of Angular and Ionic applications, leveraging Specification-Driven Development (SDD), OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and contract-first practices.  

• Ensure application quality, security, performance, and maintainability through architecture reviews, code reviews, testing, and adherence to SDLC standards.  

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements, ensure Definition of Ready (DoR) compliance, and deliver business outcomes.  

• Promote engineering excellence by driving Quality, automation, AI-enabled development practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and adoption of modern tools and frameworks. 

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline. 

• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise web and mobile applications using Angular and Ionic. 

• Proven experience developing cross-platform applications using Angular 16+, Ionic, TypeScript, Capacitor, RxJS, state management, unit testing, Progressive Web Applications (PWA), localization, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modern mobile development practices. 

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular architecture, performance optimization, Angular Signals, OnPush Change Detection, reusable component design, and modern front-end engineering practices. 

• Experience with: 

  • Web & Mobile: Angular, Ionic, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Capacitor 

  • Native Mobile: Swift, Kotlin, Xcode, Android Studio, Apple App Store and Google Play Store deployments 

  • Backend & Integration: Node.js, NestJS, REST APIs, Microservices, GraphQL, OpenAPI/AsyncAPI 

  • DevOps & Quality: Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Fastlane, CI/CD, Appium, Detox.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and technical coaching skills; experience with AI-enabled software development practices is advantageous.
