The Team

This position will be part of the team building the next-generation user interface for managing any Hitachi Vantara storage and AI products. We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of front-end architecture to help guide and shape the future of our products, ensuring seamless user experiences at scale.

The Role

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will:

• Serve as an expert in Micro Front-End architectures and design, setting the standard for the next generation of our management software.

• Lead development efforts with a focus on React and Angular to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance user interfaces.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement front-end features that meet both user and business needs.

• Leverage your deep experience with JavaScript and TypeScript to build modern, robust applications.

• Design and integrate with REST APIs, ensuring smooth interaction with backend systems.

• Utilize your CSS expertise to create polished, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces.

• Help mentor junior developers and share your expertise to elevate the team’s technical capabilities.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Expert-level experience with React and Angular for building modern web applications.

• Proven expertise in Micro Front-End architectures and design principles.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them seamlessly into user interfaces.

• Strong CSS skills, with a focus on creating clean, responsive designs.

• A passion for creating user-centered solutions and an eagerness to lead the way in front-end development.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a highly dynamic Agile environment.
