About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager to lead our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for the Americas region. In this pivotal role, you will ensure alignment with Dyson’s core growth pillars while overseeing the planning process. The Senior FP&A Manager – Americas will partner closely with the VP of Finance, the Regional President, and other commercial leaders to articulate the performance narrative for the Americas, drive decision-making, and provide financial insights that support long-term goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, expertise in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights to senior management.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
  • Develop financial reporting book
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and presenting actionable recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with business units to gather inputs for financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring comprehensive and accurate financial planning.
  • Partner with operations, marketing, and sales teams to evaluate new initiatives and investment opportunities, providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Strategic Support

  • Support strategic initiatives and projects by providing financial analysis and guidance on profitability, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies, including capital expenditure planning and investment analysis.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and develop junior FP&A team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Manage the FP&A team’s workflow and priorities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial insights and reports.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (CPA/CMA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of finance experience, with a focus on financial planning and analysis ideally in CPG.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Understand of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders; advanced PowerPoint skills are essential for creating impactful presentations.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel for data analysis and modeling; experience with ERP systems required
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring finance professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
