The Financial Analyst will be responsible for Enterprise Data Management (EDM) technical application support. He/She will support the EDM Architect on projects implementations, complex problem resolution, break fix analyses, and system enhancements. The successful candidate will be a part of Master Data Management Group and process transformation initiatives. This role will be hands-on support to help drive resolution of questions and issues related to EDM Workflows and EDM metadata changes, subscriptions and integrations. The applicant will also support corresponding functions such as Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the EDMCS Architect to expand, enhance and maintain EDMCS (Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services).
- Maintain custom properties and configurations to meet specific business requirements related to EDM mapping tool for financial reporting.
- Manage inbound and outbound integration processes by leveraging EPM Automate, REST API, Windows batch scripts to enable secure, efficient, and automated data exchange across various financial systems
- Partner with the EDMCS Architect to optimize EDMCS workflows to streamline data governance, strengthen the security matrix, and enhance overall process efficiency within the EDMCS and subscribing applications HFM, Planning, Workday, Workforce Planning
- Implement robust validation rules and mechanisms to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance within EDMCS.
- Write clean, efficient, single-threaded code with proper commenting technique to ensure audit trail
- Debug and troubleshoot existing code to identify and resolve errors.
- Participate in unit testing, system testing, and integration testing during EDMCS implementations
- Collaborate with EDMCS functional team to help in technical build, participate in code reviews, and support software development lifecycle goals.
- Document and maintain technical documents, training materials.
- Provide solutions to data and metadata load errors
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience/bootcamp/certification).
- Technical Knowledge - Hands-own experience in EDMCS with foundational programming language skills
- Tools - Familiarity with software tools like Microsoft
- Problem-Solving - Willingness to troubleshoot, analyze and solve complex issues.
- Communication - Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders
- Common Qualifications/Preferred Experience
- Internship experience or personal projects showcasing coding ability.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL preferably) and operating systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
