Discover Impactful Work:The Senior Financial Analyst supports global finance to meet financial goals through analytics.
A day in the Life:- Collaborate with Finance leaders and Business partners to enhance process efficiency in our primary reporting structures of QBR/MBR, AOP, STRAP
- Drive thoughtful analytics and define key performance indicators to proactively manage the Full P&L and ensure the success of our business
- Transform, scale and expand our FP&A value proposition across multiple functions by effectively influencing and breaking down barriers
- Support weekly revenue reviews, monthly forecast reviews, and monthly/quarterly commercial revenue reporting
- Support weekly processes by identifying drivers and providing meaningful insight on revenue performance
- Develop, standardize, and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights, and support monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and budgeting process
- Partner with global finance leaders to report and analyze global commercial operating expenses
- Build and update dashboards, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence tools by data mining in various systems
- Independently investigate data issues and/or information given, ask pertinent questions and identify root causes, collaborate with functional business partners and system support to improve data quality
- Work with business collaborators to develop essential assumptions and factors for decision support, conduct spontaneous data analysis to uncover business insights and observations independently
- Proactively learn and adopt new systems and tools to improve analytics capability and accuracy
- Degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting
- 8+ years of progressive direct FP&A experience, including exposure to strategic business partnering and leadership of cross-functional initiatives
- Full comprehension of financials and how to use them to analyze a business
- Proficient user of systems (i.e., SAP, Hyperion, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
- Customer-centric and passionate about providing proactive systems solutions to drive business performance
- Good understanding of business processes and operations & financial controls, able to identify control weaknesses in existing processes and recommend mitigation actions
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Performs other duties as assigned
