The Senior Financial Analyst role focuses on Financial Planning and Analysis support for Medtronic's Global Commercial Office. The position reports directly into the GCO Finance Director of FP&A. Responsibilities include supporting the development of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for the GCO, developing financial insights for senior leadership, and supporting performance reporting.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Support month-end close processes & analysis including report preparation and consolidation
- Finance team to deliver on FP&A objectives, including revenue and headcount reporting, and expense management
- Support weekly revenue reporting for the GCO function
- Assist in the quarterly, annual and strategic plan financial forecasts and cost roll-up across the GCO functions
- Partner with the Finance COE and GCO Finance team on FP&A deliverables, revenue reporting, headcount reporting and expense management
- Perform variance analysis on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Data analytics and reporting from One Stream, SAP, Tableau and Power BI on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Ad hoc data gathering, analysis and report out to stakeholders as needed
Must Have:
Bachelors degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
