As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will support the Supply Chain Finance team by maintaining accurate financial records and controls. You’ll deliver insights that improve operational efficiency, cost management, and profitability through analysis of production costs, inventory, and logistics. This role collaborates cross-functionally to manage financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate and timely monthly close process/activities
- Perform all activities keeping SOX/Internal Audit compliance top of mind
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations of key accounts
- Analyze financial results to identify business drivers
- Prepare reports on spend, volume and variances to understand trends and performance
- Provide actionable commentary to help management understand the financial results and actions to manage spend
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting documents, including monthly forecasts, and forecast updates
- Provide detailed expense, headcount, and key project analysis in preparation for the annual budget cycle and assist in budget creation
- Work with internal or external auditors to provide documentation and explanation of documentation
- Lead responsibilities for ad hoc / special projects and process improvement
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 4 years of accounting and/or Finance experience
- No immigration sponsorship available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced spreadsheet, database (i.e. Excel, Access), financial systems and ad hoc reporting skills
- Result oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity
- Must be self-motivated, and both detail and process oriented
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a working knowledge and prior experience with financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and accounting theory and practice
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
