Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst role will support global reporting requirements, and special & ad hoc projects and will provide analytical and decision support to the Global Financial Operations team. He/she must be able to develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for manufacturing finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.The incumbent will be required to review and improve current reporting processes with the ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs.
- Supporting the Global Finance Operations, Planning, Consolidation, Reporting, and Analysis Processes including developing and maintaining Operations Financial Packages for all our Operating sites
- Assisting in special and Ad Hoc projects, such as the system Value Stream Map process, product actual cost visibility, and financial closing streamline activities.
- Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.
- Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
- Assisting in Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations and analysis, focusing on Global CAPEX and Inventory.
- Supporting the monthly closing, forecast submission, and annual budgeting processes.
- Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports emphasizing historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends.

Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
- B.S. degree in Accounting/Finance with 3 plus years relevant experience preferred. CMA, CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience as a cost analyst, cost accountant, financial analyst or similar role with a global, multi-site manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) required.
- Experience with automated accounting and reporting systems (Oracle, Data Warehouse and HFM preferred), including data extract and report compilation is a plus.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
