Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the managing the consolidated financial plans and reporting for the business. This role will support monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts, along with the annual budgeting and long-term planning processes. The senior financial analyst will work across the business to report on and monitor trends in performance to inform business decisions, support budget vs. actual reporting, and the updating of financial models to support forecast/close reviews. This position requires a detailed focused and organized individual, with an ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills with an ability to work well with others but also independently.
Qualifications
What you'll get to do:
- At a consolidating level, manage and report financial plans and forecasts for the business. Provide visibility to actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the existing forecast and budget process, including managing key dates and deliverables and standardizing templates and reporting for the full three-financial statement forecast.
- Establish regular meetings with various department owners, to communicate monthly results.
- Collaborate with various department owners to monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and explanations based on business drivers.
- Support the accounting close by reviewing variances from forecast to identify any necessary accruals or other adjustments to the financial statements.
- Develop KPI-based dashboards and expand financial reporting, leveraging existing technologies to automate financial reporting.
- Enhance/automate finance processes, models, and reporting, challenge existing assumptions and methodologies.
- Support the build and transition to a new financial reporting tool.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from an accredited university in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in consumer goods or another inventory-related field.
- Strong analytical skills – Advanced analysis and excel skills, and familiarity using and extracting data from various systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking with a natural curiosity to find the answer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be detail oriented and organized, with an ability to maintain multiple versions of forecasts.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are important, due to the need to work cross functionally in a fast-growing company.
- Flexible team player that enjoys hands on responsibilities, with an ability to be proactive and a self-starter. Ability to work independently and effectively research and solve problems.
- Apparel industry and experience with Microsoft d365, Microstrategy, Tableau or Anaplan a plus.

The salary range for this role is $115,000 per year - $130,000 per year.
