The Sr. Principal Finance/Sr. Financial Analyst will lead the forecast/planning cycles and management reporting. The role includes assessment of operational risk exposures and leadership of forecast modeling and analytics. Essential functions include providing data driven analytics to Operations, Finance, & Accounting. The role will develop financial models and analyses as required to support key project initiatives within the Xome organization.

This position will report into Xome Financial Planning & Analytics, primarily supporting Income Statement management.

Role / Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, commentary, and presentation material for the monthly business review meetings
  • Lead the monthly planning cycles and the forecast modeling and analytics
  • Oversee the financial planning tool – monitor process controls and maximize utilization; collaborating with process owners and stakeholders to establish best practices
  • Provide financial modeling and analysis for projects and ad hoc requests
  • Be a strong business partner to Operations and Finance leadership teams
  • Monitor progress to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s); analyze and recommend areas for improvement along with proposed solutions
  • Collaborate with the organization to identify issues, resolve problems, and speed up processes

Education / Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance preferred and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience - experience in technology, real estate, accounting, commercial banking or investment banking a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in financial planning tools (Essbase, TM1, Adaptive, etc.)
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint expert
