Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Sr. Financial Analyst, Cloud Infrastructure to support critical financial planning, modeling, and analysis for our rapidly scaling cloud operations. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to provide actionable insights and drive key decisions surrounding cloud-related spend, investments, and long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust financial models to track, forecast, and analyze cloud infrastructure costs and usage trends
Support annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly variance analysis processes for cloud and related infrastructure investments
Collaborate with cloud engineering and operations teams to understand business drivers and create insightful financial reports
Identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities within the cloud environment; make recommendations to leadership
Prepare clear, compelling presentations for executives and key stakeholders on cloud infrastructure financial performance
Track vendor contracts and ensure financial compliance with cloud service providers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification a plus
4+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably with a focus on cloud infrastructure or technology sector
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Excel and financial planning systems (experience with cloud spend management tools is a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment
