ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. About the Financial Accountant job at GenScript Europe
We are seeking an accounting professional to join our GenScript Europe. The ideal candidate should have a good background in local tax and accounting practices in the Netherlands and is proficient in both Chinese and English. In this position, you will coordinate with headquarters to manage financial reporting, expenses review while cooperating with Treasury team to communicate with local banks in Europe and handle tax fillings.
Position: Financial Accountant
Work Location: Rijswijk, South Holland, Netherlands
Working Scheme: Hybrid
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Manage local banking operations for European subsidiaries and coordinate with headquarters on quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct onboarding training for new employees in Europe, covering the reimbursement system, invoice compliance, reporting system, and other relevant areas.
- Oversee local expense approvals, review reimbursement reports, manage monthly closing activities, and review financial reports for European subsidiaries.
- Support the modification and formulation of Travel Policies and support the optimization of financial processes.
- Responsible for answering local employees' questions about financial-related work and build a good communication bridge between the headquarters and local employees in Europe.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Main Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English languages.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with SAP financial software is a plus.
- Over three years of local tax and accounting work experience in the Netherlands, including experience with banking operations.
- Familiarity with local tax and accounting guidelines in the Netherlands.
- Detail-oriented and patient.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of teamwork.
