The Senior Finance Manager is a critical position on the Rutland Integrated Manufacturing Leadership team. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep level of financial expertise and an ability to partner with Operational Leadership to achieve business outcomes. This position drives optimal performance of safety, quality, delivery & cost at the site and contributes to the overall Company performance. The successful candidate will manage $200M+ of cost, drive productivity, improve financial reporting and analysis, and oversee significant capital investments ensuring alignment with GE Aerospace’s strategic priorities.

Rutland financial leadership - deliver accurate and complete financials, including financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end closing activities, and ad-hoc analytics to drive operational action
Strategic partnership with Rutland Site Leader and operations team (Site Leadership)
Collaborate with Site Leadership to ensure alignment and execution of key priorities
Partner with cost leader to drive operations team to meet the site’s year-over-year productivity targets
Proactively provide unsolicited guidance, interpretation, and education of complex financial and operational matters to drive business decisions
Maximize ROI on a $35M+ annual capital expenditure budget, ensuring investments deliver measurable value to the business
Develop Budget/Forecasts and achieve financial results in a dynamic environment, ensuring the Site meets its financial and operational targets
Implement GE proprietary lean operating system (FLIGHT DECK) to drive business and financial results for safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
Effectively communicate key dynamics of the site operations to Site Leadership, Part Family Leadership, and FP&A along with other cross-divisional and cross-functional internal stakeholders
Maintain the highest standards of controllership, compliance & rigor
Ensure compliance to GAAP and GE policy to ensure reporting integrity, partnering consistently and effectively with controllership, FP&A, engineering & the Commercial Engines and Services/Defense teams
Own the annual Government reporting process (FPRP) and support any Government audits if required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (CPA, CMA or MBA a plus)
8+ years of relevant finance experience
Prior experience working in supply chain at a mid to large size manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

The base pay range for this position is $140,000-$180,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on June 1st.
