A. Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for racking systems and related components.
- Float RFQs, perform technical/commercial comparisons, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and installation timelines.
- Develop alternate supplier base for cost, quality, and risk mitigation.
B. Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination
- Plan material requirements based on project demand and forecasts.
- Track production, dispatch, transportation, and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate inbound logistics, customs compliance, freight, and storage.
C. Inventory & Material Management
- Monitor stock levels of racking components and hardware.
- Optimize inventory cost while ensuring availability.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for accurate stock posting.
D. Vendor & Quality Management
- Conduct supplier audits for quality and compliance.
- Ensure materials meet engineering specifications and standards.
- Resolve delivery discrepancies and quality issues.
E. CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Work with design teams to understand BOM and specs.
- Support project managers with procurement planning.
- Coordinate with finance for budgeting and invoice settlement.
