FX is seeking a Sr. Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. The role will involve heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements, and various other administrative tasks to support the President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment
- Track all incoming written material for the department and written and visual material for supervisor plus maintain an accurate and detailed account of all submissions
- Keep up to date records and knowledge of current series and development projects supervisor is involved with
- Evaluate material and think analytically about it
- Support the department and other executives as needed, which includes scheduling studio meetings, updating the department records for the shows currently in development or production
- Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on our series
Requirements:
- 2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio, or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
- High level of confidentiality, judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive information and materials
- Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to multitask and handle a fast-paced and high-volume atmosphere
- Must be resourceful, positive and collaborative
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting an SVP or above
- Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $66,200 to $88,700 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
