Primary Duties
- Innovate and Implement IT Solutions: Develop and implement innovative IT solutions aligned with business needs and strategic goals.
- Build and Maintain Scalable Infrastructure: Design, maintain, and optimize scalable and reliable infrastructure systems to ensure performance and availability.
- Collaborate and Resolve Technical Issues: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges through root cause analysis.
- Enhance System Performance and Security: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance while ensuring compliance with security protocols and standards.
- Provide Technical Leadership and Guidance: Mentor junior engineers, offer technical guidance to team members, and contribute to the development of IT policies and best practices, including the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in system architecture, virtualization, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
- Availability for on-call duties, if necessary
