We are looking for a Sr Engr Cslt - AI/ML Engineering in the AI Platforms and AI Governance organization.
The enterprise AI Control Plane team requires Senior Engineer Consultant to be part of the build and operate phase of the foundational E2E AI Governance ecosystem. Currently, AI governance work is fragmented. This role will lead a dedicated engineering pod to own the overarching architecture that integrates AI development platforms with safety and compliance hubs. This role will be part of the team that sets enterprise standards, negotiate guardrails with
executive risk organizations (Legal, InfoSec, RAI), and transform governance from a manual bottleneck into an automated pipeline, culminating in same-session auto-approvals for Verizon AI.
Architect and code automated governance pipelines that inject Security and RIL (Responsible AI, Integrity, Legal) guardrails directly into the deployment lifecycle.
Implement advanced agent simulation (Tau2 benchmark) and continuous real-time observability telemetry for production LLMs.
Build robust API integrations connecting developer platforms seamlessly with Verizon governance hubs (Engram, Agent Registry).
Architect Identity & Access Management (IAM) and routing logic within the Agent Gateway to ensure autonomous workflows operate with secure access boundaries
Foster a culture of scientific innovation, driving the creation of new intellectual property (IP), patents, and advanced evaluation metrics (e.g., piloting Tau2 benchmarking for agent simulation).

What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or Six or more years of work experience.
Five or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or specialized training.
Strategic Architecture: Deep expertise in AI solution deployment patterns
Financial Operations (FinOps): Ability to manage the high costs of GPU clusters and compute credits through strategic resource allocation.
AI/ML governance practices scaling at enterprise grade
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Deep fluency in AI/GenAI architecture and distributed systems.
