The Role
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid On-site)
About the Role - You will:
- Develop & document Test plans based on multiple selection criteria to find customer centric issue early in development cycle.
- Identify & document tool chains that will maximize automated test executions.
- Implement feature addition/enhancements to existing test scenarios.
- Do Root cause analysis for the failures and report in bug tracking system.
- Debug performance and reliability issues of the product.
- Modify test code to improve performance, enhance stability, and to fix defects.
- Communicate with team and managers to develop optimal solutions and report progress.
- Review the requirement and functions and help draw traceability
About You:
- Good problem solver, communicator, and collaborator
- Self-motivated who thrives on building software from concept to market
- Enjoys working on new product development with dynamic customer needs and requirements
- Understand basic LINUX and programming in UNIX environment
- Exposure in scripting languages like Python and NOSQL (key-value) Databases
- Knowledge of Networking, wireless, telecom protocols and IOT areas involving CLI, REST API and GUI.
- Knowledge of software development as well as software test life-cycle in Agile environment.
- Knowledge of debugging HW issues, protocol analysers, etc
- Handson with Anritsu, Anite, Amari Callbox, 4G/5G call flows, Spirent GNSS, etc
- Understanding of functional groups related to engineering (i.e., documentation, release engineering, etc.)
Your Experience Includes:
- Technologies: Python, Shell, Perl, ROBOT
- Platform/Tools: RedHat, Opensource tools, Jenkins test framework, Jira
- Database: MongoDB, Elastic Database, Key-Value Databases
- Application Software
- Tools: Anritsu, Anite, Amari Callbox, Sprirent GNSS, etc
- Test automation for wireless, telecom, cloud products with exposure to IOT domain
- Delivering software solutions in Linux / Windows environment
- Agile development methodologies for software/ system development
