Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to lead the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process from project kick-off through series production. The ideal candidate will drive prototype, pilot, and production ramp-up activities while ensuring manufacturing readiness, cross-functional coordination, and smooth transition from product development to mass production.
- Own and manage the complete NPI lifecycle from project kick-off to mass production.
- Develop, maintain, and release NPI build plans, project timelines, and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate prototype, pilot, pre-production, and production builds with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure manufacturing readiness, including:
- Materials availability
- Tooling readiness
- Manufacturing programs
- Fixtures and test equipment
- Production documentation
- Materials availability
- Drive seamless transition from engineering development to manufacturing.
- Review and understand product drawings, schematics, BOMs, and engineering change requests.
- Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to resolve build issues.
- Identify manufacturing risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor build progress, analyze production issues, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering.

- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Control Plan

- FAI (First Article Inspection)
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Experience in manufacturing process validation and process optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues during NPI builds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools; experience with ERP/PLM systems is an added advantage.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
