  • Experience in thermal-hydraulic system design, architecture development, prototype build, product validation, pilot production, and product launch activities.
  • Strong knowledge of component selection, sizing, integration, and optimization including pumps, heat exchangers, valves, sensors, reservoirs, piping systems, filtration systems, controls, and liquid cooling distribution networks.
  • Hands-on experience with thermal analysis, fluid flow calculations, system pressure drop analysis, heat load calculations, and performance validation testing.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry standards and compliance requirements related to data center liquid cooling systems, pressure equipment, safety, reliability, and regulatory certifications.
  • Ability to engage directly with customers, product management, manufacturing, suppliers, and field service teams to translate customer needs into robust product solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and project execution skills with a proven track record of delivering complex NPD programs in a global environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s degree in Thermal Engineering or related specialization preferred. 

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in New Product Development (NPD) for thermal management products such as CDUs, liquid cooling systems, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, or HVAC equipment. 

  • Strong technical expertise in thermal systems, hydraulics, electrical and controls integration, with experience in component selection and system architecture development. 

  • Experience leading product development through global Stage-Gate/NPDI processes in a cross-functional and multinational environment. 

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, BOM development, and design documentation with strong attention to detail. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis capabilities for resolving complex engineering challenges. 

Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements, including UL, CE, IEC, and other relevant product safety standards. 


  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to balance customer requirements, quality, cost, schedule, and manufacturability while delivering successful products. 

  • Experience in Data Center Liquid Cooling, High Density Cooling, or Mission-Critical Thermal Management Systems is highly desirable
