The successful candidate should have 5+ extensive experience in Development Operations (DevOps) engineering. An "automate everything" attitude is needed and desired. Strong application support, debugging, and incident support skills are required to be successful in the role. Experience with cloud infrastructure and system administration management experience is a must. The position requires working with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis. You will need strong communication skills to be effective. A proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are essential for success.


You will be part of the deployment team at Saviynt where we make sure we deploy our application on cloud infrastructure with precision, minimal interruption to customers and on time with quality. Our mission is to make our customers successful while we provide them with the latest Saviynt has to offer.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Perform customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in the cloud environment.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Monitor cloud resources to ensure availability and scalability.
  • Automate any manual work being performed pre/during/post deployments. 
  • Develop solutions to make deployments robust and successful 100% of the time.
  • Find opportunities to reduce the time to deploy to various customer environments.
  • Troubleshoot cloud-related infrastructure incidents and issues.
  • Building and maintaining highly available systems for SaaS products. Perform operations such as backup and restores.
  • Assist in ensuring security best practices for cloud are followed and customer data is secured.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documents for cloud infrastructure and related processes

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Expertise of the AWS or Azure Infrastructure as a Service Automation tools like Terraform, and /or Cloud Formation
  • Expertise in AWS or Azure compute, data sources and/or security technologies
  • Ability to manage and learn new technologies/services/features
  • Expertise in implementing infrastructure-as-code (IAC) solutions for infrastructure provisioning automation
  • Experience with Relational Database (MySQL) and nosql database required.
  • Experience in Compliance requirements and following and defining security practices.
  • Ability to partner and communicate with various Technology Teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a strong team-oriented environment
  • Ability to take on multiple assignments, whether administrative or project related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to develop, present and effectively communicate ideas to a variety of audiences

At Saviynt, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and final compensation decisions are dependent on many factors including, but are not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other relevant business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 - $135,000 annually.


You may also be eligible to participate in a Saviynt discretionary bonus plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.


If required for this role, you will:

Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter

Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures such as (but not limited to):

> Data Classification, Retention & Handling Policy

> Incident Response Policy/Procedures

> Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Policy/Procedures

> Mobile Device Policy

> Account Management Policy

> Access Control Policy

> Personnel Security Policy

> Privacy Policy
