PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To implement, monitor and maintain IT infrastructure
/services which is deployed at various datacenters for providing applications
services to internal and external client. Internal clients are Product
R&D/Engineering, PMG, Delivery and Tech support teams. External clients are
business clients whose services are either hosted from our datacenter or
provided at onsite.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead resolution activities with customers, provide support in your area of expertise.
- Deliver a range of technical support services to our internal and external customers.
- Maintain high level Customer satisfaction by clarifying Customer needs and ensuring that they are met
- Handle support issues promptly and appropriately, escalate issues according to established procedures
- Implement , configure, and maintain VMware environment , Servers (Linux/Windows) on both VM & physical nodes,
- Implement, configure, and maintain Network routers, routing policies, Network switches, Switching policies, firewalls & policies in heterogeneous complex environments.
- SAN environment and service management
TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Hands on experience in maintaining Virtualized and non – virtualized datacenter server environments
- Hands on with Linux OS, Linux Clustering, HA environments installation , support, and administration.
- Hands on with Windows Server OS, windows Clusters, HA environments installation, support, and administration.
- Hands on experience in network technologies and maintaining Cisco / HP /Dell routing and switching platforms. Configuration of Cisco routers, Switches, Load Balancers, VOIP devices, Cisco Unified Communication Manager for VOIP Applications, Cisco PIX firewall series
- Hands on experience is configuring and maintaining of TCP/IP Protocols like TCP/IP, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, TFTP, FTP, SMP, DNS, NTP, LDAP, HSRP, VRRP etc.
- Hands on experience in Network security, VPN and related
service using IPSEC, SSH, SSL AAA, TACACS+, and RADIUS, DES, 3DES, AES, MD5
etc.
