A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Sr Engineer (Altium Designer) at Atotech An MKS Brand, you will partner with teams to deliver high-quality PCB layouts for complex hardware.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- PCB layout of new designs of complex hardware platforms
- Complete documentation of designs conforming to MKS documentation standards including Alitum database, assembly prints, fabrication prints, Gerber package, ICT testopint files, etc
- Cable harness design. Select components based upon availability, cost & technical requirements, and work with drafters to create high quality cable drawings & BOM's.
- Closely coordinate with US & Europe-based design engineers.
Skills You Bring:
- Experience required: 5+years post educational degree
- Extensive Altium PCB layout experience with existing portfolio of designs, Altium library management experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledgeable of PCB assembly processes and DFM (design for manufacture) and DFT (design for test).
- Experience with AutoCAD or Draft sight to create 2-D cable drawings.
