Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Project Engineer will ensure fulfillment of customer orders in compliance with contractual requirements, provide technical project management, technical direction, and drives coordination of engineering activities and critical issue resolution for OTR-related issues for all assigned wind projects. Essential responsibilities:
- Translating project requirements into product definition and issue bills of materials to supply chain
- Creating and/or facilitate project specific engineering instructions as well as customer & commissioning documentation
- Providing timely & accurate responses to customer and field teams technical inquiries for turbine assembly, installation, and commissioning through final customer acceptance of the wind farm
- Provide technical leadership, advice and assistance to the overall project team
- Drive process & standardization around project execution tasks
- Drive lessons learned back into the design engineering organizations to avoid repeating issues
- Liaise between customers and Engineering regarding balance of plant equipment for the purpose of configuring interfaces, safety protections, and control systems for both the wind turbine and the entire wind farm
- Facilitate the configuration of control software and parameters based upon the site requirements and specific unit configurations
- Coordinate, schedule, and thoroughly communicate with allocated resources to complete engineering deliverables
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science or related field.
- 5-10 years engineering and technology experience, including strong demonstration of technical skills and project leadership.
- Fluent in English
- Ability and availability to travel 10% of the year

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
