Sr. Embedded Software Program Manager

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Embedded Software Program Manager to drive and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of embedded software projects across our product portfolio. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in embedded systems, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain program plans and schedules, for embedded software projects.  

• Work with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics. 

• Establish timelines and resource requirements, aligning them with overall company goals. 

• Track project progress, maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.  

• Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware teams, quality assurance, and product management.  

• Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks and issues, especially those related to hardware-software integration, and QA. 

• Coordinate with QA teams to establish testing protocols, verification procedures, and documentation. 

• Technical foundation and knowledge of embedded systems, including SoC architecture, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and low-level drivers. Previous experience as a Software or Hardware Engineer on an embedded team is a plus. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. 

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development or embedded systems engineering. 

• 3+ years of experience in project/program management, preferably in embedded software or hardware-related projects. 

• PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certifications are preferred. 

• Proficiency with project management and communication tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.). 

• Strong understanding of embedded systems, and hardware-software interaction. 

• Experience in software development processes, version control, and embedded software languages (C, C++, etc.).
