Job Summary:
Leads the development of advanced electrical models and detailed drawings using BIM technology to enhance project coordination and execution. Serves as a technical resource for electrical modeling standards and constructability. Collaborates closely with project engineers and field teams to ensure designs are accurate, efficient, and compliant with codes and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and coordinates complex electrical models and layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, Evolve and Navisworks.
Reviews and validates models for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
Provides guidance and mentorship to other modelers in modeling techniques and project standards.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve coordination issues.
Supports prefabrication, material planning, and field installation coordination.
Documents and implements improvements to modeling workflows and standards.
Education Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in electrical design, drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
4+ years of experience in electrical modeling, detailing, or coordination required.
Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
