  • Drive electrical design activities from concept through production, including circuit design, simulation, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, EMC labs, and manufacturing partners to ensure product performance, reliability, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support product enhancements, sustaining engineering efforts, and root cause investigations for existing products.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members while promoting engineering best practices and design standards.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of product development experience
  • Strong background in analog and digital circuit design, simulation and design tools, microcontroller-based systems, embedded development, and power electronics (MOSFETs, IGBTs)
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and solve challenging engineering problems
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with medical device product development and compliance with IEC 60601-1 safety standards.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance testing, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), pulsed power systems, and electronic ballast design.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, reliability engineering methodologies, and design-for-quality best practices.
Work Environment

This position combines engineering design work with hands-on laboratory testing and prototype development. The role is primarily desk-based (50-75%) with occasional travel and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Why Join Us?
  • Develop innovative technology that directly impacts patient outcomes
  • Work on complex challenges involving embedded systems, power electronics, and medical device design
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Play a key role in advancing the next generation of NeuroStar® technology
