Job SummaryThis position is for a senior level resource with experience and a passion for enhancing a disaster recovery program.* Develop risk management procedures, contingency and disaster recovery plans and ransomware governance controls for central and distributed systems and networks to maintain operations during downtime and/or major disasters.
* Identify and make recommendations regarding critical points of failure.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures for disaster recovery plans. Tests plans with various operational and support groups in IT.
* Assist in evaluation and selection of vendors to ensure service level agreement meet business continuance and disaster recovery planning requirements.
* Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology.
* Coordinate, test, and administer disaster recovery plans.
* Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Perform a variety of tasks.
* Work under general supervision.
NOTE: This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.
Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree and 4 years experience in disaster recovery planning, process analysis, and general business systems analyst or 8 years related military experience.
* Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
* Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
* Takes initiative to solve complex problems; takes an “outside –in perspective to identify innovative solutions
* Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
* May lead functional teams or projects
* Familiarity with real-world disaster recovery outages and the governance of recovery procedures for each.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
* Understanding of public cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
* Industry certifications a plus (CBCP, MBCP, DRCS)
* Experience with RSA Archer

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
