This role acts as the bridge between strategy, operations, and technology, ensuring the EHR transformation delivers measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes across a complex, federated care delivery environment.

The Role.
  • Own the overall Epic EHR program charter, including scope, objectives, success criteria, and governance model.

  • Own the end-to-end business case, including financial model, investment thesis, and benefit tracking.
  • Define and track value realization metrics (e.g., productivity gains, revenue recovery, patient growth, retention).
  • Ensure realization of targeted outcomes such as clinical workflow optimization, revenue cycle improvement, and productivity/labor efficiency gains.
  • Define and maintain the multi-year EHR transformation roadmap (2026–2029+).
  • Translate enterprise strategy into sequenced implementation phases and milestones.
  • Align clinical workflows, digital strategy, data/analytics roadmap, and population health/VBC strategy.

  • Ensure Epic EHR design reflects future-state clinical and operational workflows, not legacy processes.
  • Drive workflow standardization at scale (2,700+ clinics) while respecting necessary variation.
  • Lead and align senior leaders across Clinical Informatics, Revenue Cycle, Operations, ITS/Architecture/Integration, and Data & Analytics.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across implementation timeline, business case assumptions, workflow adoption, and vendor delivery.
  • Transition the program from implementation to optimization and value capture.
  • Ensure establishment of KPI tracking framework, continuous improvement backlog, and governance for enhancements.
  • Drive long-term outcomes across patient experience, clinical quality, and cost-to-serve reduction.
  • Ensure budgets and schedules are within company requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Business Conduct, company policies, and all applicable laws/regulations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, health informatics, or a related field.
