THE ROLE
As the Senior Director of Training & Development, you will spearhead our efforts to ensure that our Sales, Technical, and AI Tool training programs are cutting-edge, effective, and seamlessly integrated into our company’s overall strategy. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of our workforce and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for the technical side of training and development and a strong desire for AI integration. This role reports to the VP of Learning & Development with the potential for significant growth and expansion of responsibilities within the organization.   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies that address the needs of sales and technical teams, onboarding programs, and the use of AI Tools within the company.  
  • Lead and expand a team of functional leads, providing guidance and mentorship to members within and outside the team.  
  • Collaborate with business unit and department leaders to assess ongoing and future training needs and develop programs that enhance employee skills and performance.  
  • Oversee the creation and execution of innovative training modules and educational programs, utilizing the latest educational technology and methodologies.  
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, success, and ROI of multiple training programs and then make changes/updates as necessary.  
  • Ensure that training strategies and programs align with the company’s business goals and regulatory requirements.  
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in training and development to incorporate them into strategy and practices. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Communications, Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.  
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a training and development leadership role, preferably within the tech or Ad Tech industry.  
  • One or more certifications from the Association for Talent Development or a similar professional organization. 
  • Proven experience designing and implementing effective training for technical and non-technical teams including customer-facing groups (e.g., sales, customer success, professional services, etc.).  
  • Proven effectiveness in collaborating, negotiating, and interviewing executive leadership, business partners and subject matter experts to solicit required learning content.   
  • Strong knowledge of modern training techniques, tools, and competency frameworks, especially in sales and technical environments.  
  • Outstanding presentation skills, in both design and delivery.
  • Strong ability to be flexible with changing priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.  
  • Experience with AI tools and platforms in the context of training and development is highly desirable.  
  • Strong proficiency with recent versions of Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint, preferred.  
  • Experience with Camtasia and Sangit; experience with other training-related software tools is a plus.
  • Ability to exhibit meticulous attention to detail.

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $170,000.00, depending on location and experience.
