The Sr. Director, Solutions Engineering - Commercial Strategy leads the end-to-end development of customer solutions and commercial models for new business opportunities. This role ensures solutions are operationally executable, cost-accurate, and commercially competitive. The position oversees Solutions Engineering, Solutions & Commercial Enablement, and Pricing, creating a unified approach to solution design, cost validation, and pricing execution.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Own end-to-end solution development from qualification through proposal submission
- Lead and develop Solutions Engineering, Enablement, and Pricing teams
- Establish bid qualification and governance frameworks
- Oversee cost validation and pricing alignment
- Partner cross-functionally across Sales, Ops, IT, HR, Procurement
- Engage with strategic customers and support major deals
- Drive KPIs: win rate, margin performance, cost accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Leadership experience across multi-functional teams
- 12–15+ years in 3PL logistics, solutions or operations
