DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead a transformation journey across globally distributed engineering teams to deliver best in class software solutions. Mentor and lead the teams through transitions of the platform from current to target state. Partner with product teams, tech partners, and cross functional leaders to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet the needs of the business and our customers. Promote the development of reusable frameworks to help accelerate the time to market for new capabilities. Provide thought leadership to the enterprise on key industry and technology trends. Stay current on new and emerging trends in cloud computing and evaluate their potential and adoption criteria. Introduce tools and platforms that allow increased level of automation and integration. Lead the drive towards self-organized and autonomous teams towards cloud and the modernization journey. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of study plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or as Sr Director of Software Eng., VP-Monitoring Platform, VP-Devops Tools, Lead Cloud Architect, Sr Devops Eng., Devops Change Mgr., Product/Application Performance Architect, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 10 years of experience with the following: Linux; Unix; Agile SDLC; Waterfall SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; Java; Python; Shell Scripting; Apache Tomcat; REST; Maven; Apache Ant; JSON; SQL; Automated Testing; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; System Integration Testing; managing global teams; NoSQL Databases. Requires 5 years of experience with the following: Cucumber; Microservices; Docker; Jenkins; Kubernetes; GIT; Apache Kafka; AWS Cloud Services; Enablement of Public Cloud for Large Organizations; APM; Splunk. Requires 3 years of experience with the following: Azure Cloud Services; Datadog. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $245,000 - $350,000 per year.
