You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership for security, platform stability, and resiliency across C&S Technology, ensuring reliable, compliant, and predictable operations for member and business critical platforms
- Own security risk management, including identification, prioritization, and remediation of critical and high vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and third party vendors
- Lead production incident management and stability engineering, including real time decision making for P1/P2 incidents, root cause analysis, and durable remediation
- Establish and enforce disciplined change governance, deployment readiness, and operational controls to minimize risk during peak and high impact change periods
- Define and execute resiliency strategy, including disaster recovery readiness, business continuity planning, and execution of BCP and incident response drills
- Oversee third party and vendor security posture (e.g., MFA, certificates, access controls), ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations
- Serve as a primary technology leader for U.S. and state regulatory engagement related to security, incidents, and platform stability
- Drive proactive monitoring, observability, and AIOps capabilities to predict issues, reduce incident volume, and accelerate resolution
- Partner with application, infrastructure, and business leaders to identify high risk platforms and ensure appropriate IT ownership, controls, and resilience
- Provide executive level reporting and insights on security, stability, and resiliency to the CIO, governance forums, and senior leadership
- Lead and develop onshore teams responsible for security operations, stability engineering, and resiliency execution, ensuring clear accountability and ownership

Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of overall technology experience, including architecture, operations, engineering, or platform leadership in large scale enterprise environments
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in security, platform stability, resiliency, or reliability engineering
- Experience engaging with regulatory and compliance stakeholders, including preparation for audits, incidents, and executive level reporting
- Demonstrated experience leading with a small, highly effective team, driving impact through prioritization, and automation
- Proven expertise in:
- Security operations & risk management (incident response, vulnerability management, third party risk, change governance)
- Stability & resiliency (production incident management, root cause analysis, disaster recovery, business continuity planning)
- Solid background in AI enabled operations and automation, including use of AI/ML or AIOps to improve detection, prediction, prevention, and resolution of incidents
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Familiarity with third party and vendor risk management, including security controls, access governance, and compliance oversight
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, executive level communication and reporting to CIOs and senior leadership during high risk or high visibility situations
- Demonstrated success leading and developing onshore teams responsible for sensitive security and operational responsibilities
- Demonstrated solid judgment, accountability mindset, and ability to make real time decisions under pressure

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $159,300 to $273,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
