We are looking for a Sr. Director, Product Management to join our team in Toronto. This is an amazing opportunity to work on data analytics and intelligence offerings focused on the medical device and technology sector. The team consists of a team of product managers and is reporting to the General Manager. We have a great skill set in creating data driven analytics and insights offerings, driven by subject matter expertise in data, data science and therapeutic expertise, and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in driving development in AI native data and analytics products. 

  

About You…

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, life sciences, or related degree or relevant, equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 10 years in a director role including progressive experience in product management

  • Advanced degree MSc., MBA or equivalent

  • AI fluency and change agent in the AI transformation of businesses

  • Experience in life science or healthcare real world data assets (e.g. claims data, EDI derived data)

  • Experience in driving development of data models and architecture

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Managing and leading the next generation of data analytics and intelligence products

  • Develop and execute a strategy to transform legacy data pipeline and analysis into high-fidelity, structured and labelled datasets suitable for training proprietary AI/ML models

  • Shift the product paradigm driving autonomous workflows

  • Partner with commercial teams and engage directly with the market to establish frameworks for AI

  • Develop AI-first products that leverage a variety of data assets to provide market intelligence and analytics that serve the evolving commercialization and in-market needs of the industry

  • Lead the transformation of our data assets into a unified data model, ensuring that the data and derived analytics are optimized for evolving AI-driven consumption needs

  • Act as an internal evangelist for AI adoption, defining new DPIs for product success rather than tradition metrics

  • Setting a vision and north star outcome for the portfolio or use case that you own

  • Aligning with buyer and customer needs to set portfolio and product strategies

  • Working backwards to identify pathways and milestones to advance the current portfolio forward

  • Selling and evangelizing the vision and direction internally and externally to drive action

  • We are looking for a visionary Leader to turn that data into an AI-native engine that dictates how the medical device & technology market is understood and won

Lead a team of product managers

  • Coaching individual product managers to upskill their capabilities to world-class levels 

  • Leading the sharing of best practices, insights, and stories to foster product team cohesiveness

  • Advocating for product managers to have the best chances for achieving product success and their own development goals

  • Mentoring and training other product managers across the company to scale up a product-led culture

Foster an outcome- and impact-driven product development culture

  • Nurturing deep customer engagements and relationships to draw out market insights and problems

  • Partnering with consulting or services businesses to source new ideas, refine user requirements, test prototypes, and automate manual tasks via software solutions

  • Driving the setting of portfolio product objectives, OKRs, and KPIs that align with customer value

  • Experimenting rapidly to identify solutions that will achieve product-market fit

  • Refining and iterating on features and solutions constantly, leveraging customer and community feedback

  • Sharing and celebrating key customer and product milestones with all cross-functional partners

  • Recruiting top talent to join the product development team

  • Presenting wins, case studies, and highlights to senior stakeholders and across the company to amplify product-led impacts 

Achieve commercial goals

  • Identifying and sizing growth markets and segments to prioritize in building solutions for

  • Partnering with marketing, sales, and other GTM colleagues to position portfolio value propositions in the market and receive feedback from the field

  • Joining sales calls and thought leadership opportunities to represent the strategy and direction of the portfolio

  • Regularly exceeding commercial growth targets, balancing strong retention and new sales ambidextrously

We achieve this through our focus on quality, speed, understanding of where the market is evolving, with clear goal setting and building compelling solutions for the market we serve.

Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time permanent role primarily in EST with engagement with a global team.

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position in Canada is $172,800 - $216,000 CAD per year.  This role is eligible for annual incentive bonus earnings.  Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.

The expected base salary for this position in the USA is $174,400 - $218,000 USD per year.  This role is eligible for annual incentive bonus earnings.  Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
