About the team

Drives the development of product definition and solution plans to optimize the company's products and services portfolio. Applies broad knowledge of company's product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities. Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand marketshare. Evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case for optimization of existing products/solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products. Collaborates with research and development to create products and validate early product definitions. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

About the role

Zillow Group is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Senior Director of Product Management for our Quote to Cash Technology. This pivotal role oversees the comprehensive product management function that drives across Zillow's sales, purchasing and financial systems. You will play a crucial role in shaping the monetization capabilities for our Premier Agent, ShowingTime+, StreetEasy, Media, and New Construction business lines as well as our back office financial technology.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $247,200.00 - $394,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Vision and Leadership: Craft and articulate a compelling overarching vision for the Quote to Cash Technology domain, mapping out a transformative plan that improves how we bring our products to our customers and partners.

Product Management Oversight: Lead the Product Management function across frontline technologies, revenue products, and FinTech systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency across all Zillow Group corporate initiatives.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: This is a very collaborative role. You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs, ensuring technology solutions are aligned with company goals and customer expectations. Solicit diverse perspectives from stakeholders and experts, synthesize them into a joint vision and gain alignment for that plan.

Team Leadership: Lead an empowered product management team. Foster an environment focused on delivering business value through technology solutions. This role requires a leader who drives the team to deeply understand their domains and proactively build plans that improve them.

Innovation and Problem Solving: Address key challenges such as unifying disparate technology systems, streamlining purchase processes, and bringing efficiency to financial processes.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in product management in technology companies
  • Strong background in at least one of the following domains: commerce and purchasing systems, FinTech, sales tooling. Ideally with familiarity across the spectrum.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for technology products, with a clear understanding of current states and future needs.
  • Has a history of making sound strategic decisions around internal and 3rd party technology products.
  • Proven track record of collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders, leading to successful product outcomes. History of establishing high trust relationships with open communication.
  • Experience leading and motivating empowered product management teams with a clear focus on delivering business value.
