About the Role:

The Sr. Director of Procurement will lead and oversee the entire procurement function within the organization, ensuring the strategic sourcing and acquisition of goods and services align with company goals and compliance standards. This role is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that optimize cost efficiency, supplier performance, and risk management across all business units. The Sr. Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and legal to drive procurement initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence. They will also manage and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Ultimately, this position ensures that procurement activities contribute to the company’s competitive advantage and sustainable success in the marketplace.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, including leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale procurement operations and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPP (Certified Procurement Professional).
  • Experience with procurement technology platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Background in a multinational corporation or complex, matrixed organizational environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives within procurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to secure favorable terms and ensure supplier compliance.
