As the Individual and Family Plan (IFP) product continues to grow, we are looking for a leader to interact with senior leaders from IFP, Actuarial, UHN, and Network Pricing to drive optimal network economics. This leader will oversee all Network Pricing IFP responsibilities at a national level. The position will have one direct report with dotted line reporting to regional IFP Network Pricing teams and will require project management skills to coordinate analytics and communication across regions and departments.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation, design, and maintenance of analytic models used by the regional IFP Network Pricing teams to evaluate financial impact of network economics for the IFP product across hospital, ancillary and physician provider types
- Strategize on network configuration and price points by market and provider
- Manage, support, measure and communicate IFP unit cost trend performance
- Support network strategy development and tactical activity
- Coordinate with trend analysis and healthcare economics areas to share relevant unit cost and Network Pricing information
- Lead the development of strategic initiatives aimed at reducing the total cost of care
- Concisely summarize and communicate the results of complex analytics
- Influence pricing strategies and network configuration decisions using a data driven approach
- Provide consultative advice on use of data as subject matter expert and interpret/summarize analytical findings
- Analyze and summarize broad impact of changes in unit cost on competitive positioning
- Work with cross-functional teams across the organization to make strategic decisions supported by data

Required Qualifications:
- College Degree (Business or Finance) or higher
- 8+ years of analytical experience in financial analysis, health care pricing, network management, healthcare economics or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in creating and using financial modeling tools, spreadsheets, and information acquisition tools to perform financial impact analytics and data manipulation
- 3+ years of experience in a management position in healthcare pricing, network management, or related discipline
- Proficiency in handling large data sets via SAS, SQL or other data analysis platforms
- Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficient interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence in a highly matrixed organization
- Proven ability to produce superior results in a financial performance-oriented environment
- Proven ability to use and support the use of financial modeling tools, spreadsheets, and information acquisition tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or FSA
- 5+ years of experience with provider payment methodologies
- Solid understanding of healthcare data, trends, reserving, and reporting
- Proven excellent financial analysis and risk management skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $159,300 to $273,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
