Responsible for developing and implementing go to market plans for the entire US knee portfolio including robotics and PSI technologies. Responsible for developing annual marketing plans for their portfolio including market & competitor analysis, customer segmentation & targeting, portfolio value proposition, key brand messaging, promotional planning, trade show strategy, medical education & product training strategy, sales tool development, digital and web strategy, inventory planning and forecasting for each product category.

What will you be doing?

Annually build and present marketing plans to the VP of US Marketing Ortho. Participate in a monthly review of progress and support annual business planning process partnering with global marketing, sales management, medical education, sales training, supply planning and finance teams. Build and supervise key performance indicators in US and lead the remediation effort to drive deeper market penetration of assigned products. Deploy pricing guidelines into US market, lead pricing exceptions process, and provide input into pricing decisions. Lead all aspects of all downstream new product launch execution activities including channel readiness execution, segment & target customers, build surgeon champions, prioritize territory roll-outs & identify inventory needs, plan and execute local training and road shows, support events as subject matter authorities. Partner with sales team to define and implement effective customer targeting, develop physician champions, and capture input to drive marketing decisions. Work with Sales Leadership to develop tools and resources to support their efforts on the product lines. Work with Medical education team to develop resources to support customer product training requirements. Supports industry educational meetings and events, on-site customer meetings and labs, national sales meeting and other strategic meetings.

Location: Memphis, TN or US - Field

Education: Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of industry knowledge/experience

Responsibilities:

- 10 years business in marketing with at least 5 years leadership and at least 3 plus years with in orthopaedic marketing experience; Leading 3-4 Direct reports / 7-10 Indirect reports

- Strong leadership, motivation and team building skills

- Strategic problem solver with ability to anticipate future issues; Ability to anticipate and identify business needs that can drive value

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sophisticated data and draw actionable insights

- Highly collaborative with ability to meet needs of multiple stakeholders

- High energy and engaging; Ability to build relationships and influence across a global organization

- Excellent, confident communication skills with the ability to communicate with and present to audiences at every level

- Shown aptitude for resolving optimal way to position products in the market. Knowledge of market research methodologies and techniques, sales and marketing principles and practices.

- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills are essential to success

- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency

- Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data analysis and forecasting.

- Willingness to "roll up sleeves" to perform at all levels and assist in areas outside of core responsibilities

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

- Understanding of competitive products and go to market models is a plus

- Understanding of direct and in-direct sales channels is a plus
