As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Loyalty Strategist to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of customer engagement solutions. 


We are seeking a senior loyalty strategy leader with demonstrated mastery in the design and financial architecture of complex loyalty programs. This role is designed for a practitioner with deep, hands-on expertise in structuring program mechanics, designing benefits and currency systems under real financial constraints, and ensuring strategies are commercially viable, defensible, and differentiated. The right candidate would have led complex design challenges that require judgement over frameworks, proficient in solving for multi-currency earn structures, liability exposure, commercial viability trade-offs, alongside brand synergy and elevation. 


The mandate of this role includes activating strategic growth within Bond’s portfolio of existing clients by identifying expansion opportunities and translating delivery intelligence into forward looking client strategies, advancing the practice through methodology development and reusable IP, and representing Bond’s loyalty expertise externally through thought leadership and industry presence 

This role plays a critical leadership role, leading complex delivery for Fortune 500 Brands, deepening and expanding relationships with known clients, and building strategic narratives for client growth opportunities.


Job requirements
  • 10+ years of experience operating as a senior loyalty practitioner within a consulting services environment, or holding strategic responsibility for multiple brand side loyalty programs, with loyalty design, operations and growth mandates.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the design and financial strategy of a loyalty program concurrently as an integrated discipline
  • Deep experience in loyalty program and financial strategy, including P&L design, economics, liability modeling, break even analysis, and incrementality measurement
  • Proven track record in loyalty program design, specifically in program architecture, currency mechanics, tier and status strategy, member value proposition design, and benefits mix optimization
  • Demonstrated success activating growth opportunities, and translating expansion observations into commercial recommendations
  • C-suite executive presence, mastery in story-telling and proven trusted advisor rapport
  • Stellar ability to influence others in a complex, matrix environment and gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organization. 

Key responsibilities

Client Solutioning 

  • Lead delivery on complex, high-visibility engagements architecting multisegmented program structures, earn-redemption optimizations and evolutions, benefits portfolio &liability restructuring, monetization enhancements, and emotional elevation 
  • Own the financial strategy layer of complex engagements including scenario modeling, earn and redemption economics, and the translation of design decisions into client facing commercial recommendations
  • Ability to define recommendations and navigate the tension between member experience ambition and program economics

Client Growth & Solution Architecture 

  • Own strategic growth planning across our known clients, identifying expansion opportunities, building growth narratives, and partnering with Client Development Partners to expand engagements
  • Lead new opportunity solutioning for known clients, translating client business challenges, customer insights, and market dynamics into relevant, differentiated customer engagement and loyalty strategies
  • Bring a strongpoint of view on evolving market dynamics and customer behaviour into solution design to ensure relevancy for clients, differentiation against competitors, and future read strategies.
  • Architect winning loyalty solution proposals, collaborating with cross-functional practices to ensure the integration of innovative thinking across Bond solutions
  • Apply innovation thoughtfully, balancing creativity with operational feasibility and scalability

Practice Leadership & External Market Presence 

  • Drive the development of loyalty practice methodology and IP, enhancing our frameworks, diagnostic tools, and design playbooks to elevate the quality and consistency of delivery across the team
  • Define and maintain quality standards for loyalty strategy work, synthesizing patterns across client engagements into reusable practice assets
  • Represent Bond’s loyalty expertise externally, through forums, conferences, and thought leadership content that builds practice visibility and credibility

Benefits
Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $149,550.00 to $192,250.00 CAD annually. 
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Bond uses AI tools during parts of the screening, assessment, and selection process, supporting a fair and efficient hiring process.

Skills Required
