The Sr. Director, Information Technology leads the engineering team behind Maritz’s Rewards and Fulfillment platforms, including reward catalogs, redemption, order management, and fulfillment integrations. This role partners with the VP of Technology, business leaders, and clients to deliver secure, scalable commerce solutions while championing AI-assisted development practices.What You'll Be Doing
STRATEGY & TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP 40%: Partners with the VP, Technology and business leaders to define technology strategy for Rewards, Fulfillment, and Commerce platforms (catalog, redemption, order management, payment, vendor integrations). Sets architecture and technology stack direction. Champions responsible adoption of AI-assisted development and emerging technologies. Tracks industry and competitive trends.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & TALENT DEVELOPMENT 25%: Key leader of the functional area; mentors managers and architects, drives career pathing, and promotes agile adoption and AI maturity across a team of 10+ staff.
CLIENT & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT 25%: Direct contact with Operations and Executive Management; Manages key stakeholder’s for client based Rewards/Fulfillment technology solutions, supports operations, strategic projects, and escalations.
GOVERNANCE, RISK & VENDOR MANAGEMENT 10%: Oversees architecture standards, security/compliance posture (PCI, SOC 2), fulfillment and technology vendor relationships, and department budget.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 5+ years managing managers or multi-team technology organizations.
Experience leading technology teams supporting commerce, rewards, loyalty, or fulfillment platforms (e.g., catalog/PIM, order management, payment processing, redemption engines) strongly preferred.
Proven experience directing technical teams, architects, and managers on complex, high-visibility programs.
Advanced knowledge of modern cloud architectures, integration patterns, and commerce/fulfillment technology ecosystems (e.g., composable/headless commerce, OMS, third-party integrations).
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools; understanding of responsible AI principles in an enterprise context.
Understanding of security and compliance frameworks relevant to commerce/payment systems (PCI DSS, SOC 2).
Strong executive presence with proven ability to manage client relationships, multiple competing priorities, and drive process improvement.
