Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Information Systems (IS) leads and directs the company's information technology operations to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology services that support business objectives. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for IS infrastructure, applications, security, and enterprise systems in a high-growth organization. The Sr. Director leads and develops a team of IS professionals, establishes and enforces IT policies and standards, manages budgets, and oversees the implementation and ongoing support of technology solutions. This position requires strong technical expertise, disciplined execution, and the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational priorities, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO and Leadership Team on technology-enabled business transformation
- Translate business priorities into a clear IT systems roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on measurable business impact
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work, and improve operational effectiveness
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business leaders, ensuring shared accountability for outcomes—not just system delivery
Enterprise Systems & Technology Operations
- Oversee the implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise systems across the organization
- Establish and enforce governance across system performance, change management, and release management
- Ensure systems deliver reliability, scalability, and strong end-user adoption
- Lead vendor and technology partner relationships with clear accountability for delivery and cost discipline
Team Leadership & Operating Model
- Build and lead a high-performing IT organization with capabilities spanning infrastructure, enterprise systems, and emerging technologies
- Establish clear priorities, accountability, and performance management aligned with company goals
- Develop team capabilities to support a fast-paced, high-growth organization
- Foster a culture of ownership, responsiveness, and continuous improvement
Infrastructure, Security & Support
- Own IT infrastructure across all locations, including network, cloud systems, and end-user computing
- Lead cybersecurity efforts, including policies, tools, risk identification, and incident response
- Ensure reliable IT operations with strong uptime, performance, and security posture
- Oversee IT support and service delivery to ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience
- Operate within a full Microsoft technology stack (Microsoft 365, Azure, D365 ecosystem)

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management
- Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification a plus
- Fortune 500 IT experience
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, D365) a plus
- Experience supporting multi-entity or integration environments
- Experience supporting new site launches or standing up IT infrastructure for new locations
The base pay range for this role is $170,000 – $200,000 per year.
