The Senior Director, FP&A will report directly to the VP, FP&A and we seek a proactive and hands-on leader who can support future scalability and contribute strategically to the company's growth.

 

This individual must possess a strong analytical toolset and a track record of effectively managing planning activities within a large and complex company. The Senior FP&A Director will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting on business performance, recommending changes to improve performance, and be a business partner to Sales & Marketing and operations leadership.

 

Primary duties include:

· Lead a small team of 2-3 members.

· Responsible for strategic involvement in annual and long-term plan, forecasting, business planning, management reporting, and business analytics.

· Leverage a sophisticated infrastructure to translate company specific and external industry data into key strategic insights that drive forward-thinking business decisions. This includes build and maintain monthly and quarterly financial packages that track trends and performance of sales & marketing, operations, including provide detailed analysis and commentary on booking & churn, revenue, backlog, costs, gross margin, operating expenses etc.

· Additionally, build and maintain various sales & marketing, and operations metric to provide meaningful insight into business performance. i.e. CAC, ROI, PS Metric, Lead & Pipeline, Sales Coverage Model etc.

· Prepare business cases to support new investments and/or strategic initiatives.

· Lead role in advising sales and operations leaders on terms for commercial arrangements.

· Lead in the design of new processes to improve the quality and productivity of the team and the business in general.

· Present financial results and financial plans to various audiences among employees, management, and others when necessary.

· Drive continuous improvement to produce innovation in reporting, planning and analysis.

· Additional ad hoc duties as required.

 

What We're Looking For:

· 8+ years of progressive financial experience, preferably with Private Equity backed B2B SaaS/software or recurring revenue model.

· Experience with M&A integration, reporting and managing the process from a financial perspective.

· Financial management, analytical, reporting, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

· Strong business acumen - working knowledge of sales strategy and sales operations.

· Interpersonal skills to effectively share and engage with cross-functional peers.

· Ability to develop and implement business and process improvements within finance and the broader organization as appropriate to scale the business.

· Ability to represent the company with credibility and build strong relationships both internally and externally. 

 

Additional Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration with a CA/CPA designation.

· Experience in US GAAP/ASC606 revenue accounting is an asset.

· Proven ability to develop highly engaged and high-performance teams.

· Exceptional technical abilities and comfort and strong familiarity with finance and accounting systems.

· Experience with Vena Solutions, Adaptive Insights or similar financial planning software, as well as Salesforce and NetSuite (preferred but not required), along with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
