Job Description
The Sr. Director of Finance reports directly to the SVP of Finance and works with the executive team and board to report business analysis and financial metrics that lead to strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for overseeing a financial planning organization that has a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers and financial models. The FP&A and finance function will enable and support the company's growth and value creation objectives. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and will work closely with our organizational leaders to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of the financial data for all of our internal and external requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual operating budgets and prepare forecasts including monthly and yearly projections
- Administer and provide management variance analysis reports including all dashboard, operating, and board reporting packages
- Organize and evaluate data to identify and explain trends, problems, and root causes
- Work cross-functionally to create visibility into financial performance and understand key operational metrics within the organization to recommend new opportunities and risks
- Implement and utilize a planning system to streamline and operationalize our processes
- Support M&A activities including due diligence, financial modeling, forecasting, and integrating financials and operational metrics
- Oversee cashflow forecasting
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue growth and profitability expansion
- Manage and develop staff by providing guidance, training, and motivation

- Cross Functional Collaboration – Ability to lead through influence and partner across multiple functions (e.g., product, engineering, marketing, sales, professional services, support, finance, operations) for delivering on bookings targets
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record in a large corporate environment
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement financial risk management strategies
- Proficiency in financial reporting and ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
- Experience with financial software systems such as SAP or Oracle Financials
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, adept at translating complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Deep understanding of industry trends and best practices in corporate finance
- Visionary mindset with a proven ability to drive financial strategy and performance
- Detail-oriented approach combined with the ability to see the big picture
